KNOXVILLE, Tenn — South Knoxville Coffee Shop, Mia Piccola, opened a second location on the northside within a year of opening its first location.
Nathan Kitner opened Mia Piccola after spending eight years in the specialty coffee industry.
“I was working for a hospitality startup company in Northwest Michigan,” he said. “For about like two, three years prior to starting this as their coffee director, so I was basically opening cafes for another company, doing this kind of work for someone else and I wanted to move closer to home.”…
