Death at Knox County detention facility under investigation

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — A death at the Roger D. Wilson Detention Facility in Knox County is under investigation, a spokesperson for the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said.

At the request of Knox County District Attorney General Charme Allen, TBI agents are investigating an in-custody death involving an incarcerated person that occurred Monday evening.
