A Muslim woman from Knoxville is now taking legal action against the Loudon County Sheriff’s Office after she says her religious rights were violated without cause while she was in police custody.
According to lawsuit documents filed against LCSO and Sheriff Jimmy Davis, Hollie Zaki was arrested in Loudon County on December 18, 2024, when she was searched for paraphernalia and taken into police custody the next morning.
