SEVIER COUNTY, Tenn. (Story Courtesy of WVLT) – Officials from the Sevier County Sheriff’s Department (SCSD) discovered a New Center Elementary School student in possession of a firearm, which deputies said the student received from another student while at school.
On the evening of Dec. 18, SCSD deputies immediately made school officials aware of the discovery, worked to determine the identity of the other student involved and conducted interviews to complete their investigation.
