Power restored to 1,300 in Knoxville

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — On Monday morning, around 1,303 homes and businesses lost power near Byington Solway Road in Knoxville, said the Lenoir City Utilities Board. At 9:10, it announced that power had been restored.

The outage began around 7:08 a.m. LCUB said it was also affecting Oak Ridge Highway, Hackworth Road, West Emory Road, and Joe Daniels Road.

“Supervisors and crews have been dispatched and power will be restored as soon as possible,” said LCUB at 8:36 a.m. “Thank you for your patience.”
