KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Five people were unharmed after a tree fell through a West Knoxville home on Sunday, breaking through the upstairs kids’ playroom.
Shelly Lewis, who owns the home on Nubbin Ridge Drive, said she was at work when the tree fell. Inside the house were her husband, two children and her in-laws, along with the family’s dogs.
“They were in the kitchen and felt heavy shaking, like an earthquake,” Lewis said. “They quickly realized our neighbor’s tree had come into the house.”…
