TELLICO VILLAGE, Tenn. — In the midst of a frigid winter, four women sought warmth under the cover of hand-stitched labors of love that served as a thank you and a commemoration of their time serving in the United States military.
For the women involved in every aspect, the designation means something a little different than the normal accolades received by veterans and active duty service members.
