CLAIBORNE CO., Tenn. (WSMV) – Another minor earthquake has struck near the Tennessee-Kentucky border within a week.
The U.S. Geological Survey reported the Sunday earthquake as a magnitude 2.6 with an epicenter north of Knoxville. Few people have reported feeling impacts, though the reported impacts go as far north as near Campbellsville, Kentucky.
The University of Memphis Center for Earthquake Research and Information also confirmed the earthquake, saying and its magnitude, saying it occurred near the border, a short distance from Middlesboro, Kentucky…
