Drivers can now apply for city of Knoxville’s Neighborhood Traffic Safety Program after two-year pause

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — A City of Knoxville program aimed at improving safety on residential streets is now open after a two-year pause, with changes intended to simplify the application process for neighborhoods.

Residents along Fairmont Boulevard say speeding had become a growing concern over the years.
