GREENBACK, TN (FOX Carolina) – The United States Geological Survey is reporting an earthquake near the Tennessee-North Carolina border region.
Officials said the 2.0 magnitude earthquake hit at 5:41 p.m. on Tuesday with a depth of 24 kilometers.
According to the agency, the earthquake was 13.4 miles southeast of Greenback, TN and 28.8 miles south southwest of Seymour, TN. Seymour is just under two hours away from the North Carolina state line…
