KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — A man is facing multiple charges including evading arrest and assault on a law enforcement officer after a report of an armed robbery in downtown Knoxville.
Austin Rehagen, 27, faces multiple charges including aggravated robbery, assault on a law enforcement officer, evading arrest, vandalism, weapons charges.

Officers responded to the Sterchi Lofts on Gay Street around 1:30 a.m. on January 3 for a reported of an armed robbery. According to court records, the accuser said that Rehagen robbed him and his friends at gunpoint and threatened to kill them before running away.
Rehagen was spotted nearby and attempted to run from the officers, according to the report. He was detained in the courtyard of Sterchi Lofts. He reportedly spit in the face of one of the officers and told them he would remember all of their faces and kill them…
