Missing Clinton Man Found Safe in Grainger County Following Silver Alert

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation recently called off a Silver Alert for Millard Dameron, an 82-year-old man from Clinton. The alert was initially issued after Dameron went missing, last seen Monday morning. According to WBIR, he was described as wearing jeans, a t-shirt, and a jacket. Found safe in Grainger County that same evening, the man’s disappearance prompted concern due to a medical condition impeding his ability to return without assistance.

Driving his red 2015 Honda Fit with the Tennessee license plate 02427PD, Dameron’s vehicle was last spotted in the vicinity of Magnolia and Olive Street in Knoxville. Standing at 5’7″ and weighing 130 pounds, Dameron has hazel eyes, WVLT reported. It noted that nearly 400 people go missing in Tennessee every year.

The Clinton Police Department was joined by TBI in their endeavors to locate Dameron and ensure his well-being, evidencing the collaborative effort that the situation necessitated.
