Knoxville protesters rally against ICE shooting in Minneapolis

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — A large group of demonstrators gathered in Knoxville‘s Market Square in protest after a woman was shot and killed by a federal immigration officer in Minneapolis, Minnesota on Wednesday.

The protest was one of many that took place across the country following the death of 37-year-old Renee Good. She was shot and killed by an ICE officer while she tried to drive away on as officers were carrying out an operation related to the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown.
