MARYVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — A man wanted in Blount County was arrested on Friday following a standoff in Monroe County, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
MCSO assisted the Blount County Sheriff`s Office as they attempted to arrest a man on Diamond Branch Road in Monroe County near Maryville. The sheriff’s office said the man had barricaded himself inside a mobile home. MCSO continued that their negotiators made contact and convinced him to exit the home after about 45 minutes.
