CareCuts secures new Knoxville location to better serve homeless population

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — The local nonprofit CareCuts that focuses on helping people out of homelessness is getting a new home.

After gaining approval by Knoxville-Knox County Planning Commission last week, the nonprofit will be moving from its current location in North Knoxville to the east side of Clinton Highway, just south of Merchants Drive.

“The idea was to bring services to all areas of the city and don’t concentrate them into one area, and that’s exactly what we’re doing,” said Planning Commissioner Tim Hill, who also serves the advisory board for CareCuts.
