KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — There’s a chance of some winter weather in East Tennessee Wednesday night into Thursday morning, and crews with the Tennessee Department of Transportation said they are ready for whatever comes their way.
TDOT Regional Communications Manager Mark Nagi shared some insight on preparations within the department. However, he said they do not expect any additional problems because of pretreatment earlier in the week.
“So we were pre-treating all day yesterday,” Nagi said Wednesday afternoon. “And now those crews are getting some much-needed rest and then they’re going to report back for work tonight no later than 8 p.m.”…
