Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is looking in Knox County for a place to have a headquarters.
This is the ICE that shoots people’s dogs. This is the ICE that pulls people from their cars through windows they broke. This is the ICE that shot Renee Good dead for being a good neighbor.
I don’t want my city to be a foothold for an organization of masked, poorly trained, violent men that operate as if the law doesn’t apply to them. If you don’t want ICE headquarters in Knox County, write your County Commissioners and tell them. Our community needs all its people to thrive, and ICE endangers all of us…
