OAK RIDGE, Tenn. (WVLT) – Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee and the state’s Economic and Community Development Development commissioner, Stuart C. McWhorter, will make an economic development announcement in Oak Ridge Friday.
It marks the latest in a series of visits by the governor, who has long been pushing for increased nuclear energy production in the Volunteer State. Many of those nuclear announcements have come during Oak Ridge visits.
