Saint Lucille’s Kitchen and one of its affiliated Knoxville breweries will close on the same day in January.
The Cajun and Creole restaurant opened less than two years ago as a collaboration between owners involved with Last Days of Autumn Brewing and Crafty Bastard Brewery, whose flagship Emory Place taproom is just next door. Last Days of Autumn, about a mile east at 808 E. Magnolia Ave., will share its last day in business with St. Lucille’s on Jan. 24.
“This journey has been one of immense learning and growth, but despite our best efforts, there was no other way forward,” read a Jan. 15 Instagram post by Saint Lucille’s announcing the closure. “The path of entrepreneurship is often unpredictable, and while we’ve had many wins, we’ve also faced tough challenges that led us to where we are now.”…
