KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Knox County Sheriff’s Office has been featured on ‘On Patrol: Live’ for just over a year. During that time, deputies have been featured in more than a dozen episodes.
Knox County Sheriff Tom Spangler said in a statement that it has been a positive experience.
“I believe having On Patrol: Live here is a great opportunity for the public to get a real-world view of what Law Enforcement Officers across the country face. They feature several agencies with diverse demographics. For our men and women, it is no different than wearing a body cam- if I had the opportunity, I would have the same type of documentary television show in our corrections facilities. It has also been an excellent recruiting tool.” …
