Airplane makes emergency landing at McGhee Tyson Airport in Alcoa

ALCOA, Tenn. (WATE) — An airplane made an emergency landing at McGhee Tyson Airport around 2:15 p.m., a spokesperson said.

The aircraft landed safely, the spokesperson said.

According to the airport this was an Alert Level Two, which means that an aircraft is having major difficulties, which could lead to a difficult or crash landing.
