KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Crews with the Tennessee Department of Transportation in Knoxville are making their way to the state capital to help out after wintry weather swept through the region.
According to TDOT, 17 crew members from Knoxville traveled to Nashville to help with roadway clearing efforts. The crews consisted of two excavators, seven salt trucks, two gradall and two skid steer loaders.

“During Hurricane Helene in the Fall of 2024, TDOT crews from across the state came to East Tennessee to assist in cleanup efforts,” TDOT said. “Here in Knoxville, our crews are always willing and able to return the favor.”…
