KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – The Knoxville Bar Association has announced it will be offering free legal advice for veterans through clinics that will be held throughout the year.
The first clinic is taking place on Feb. 11 from 12 to 2 p.m. at the Knox County Public Defender’s Office.
KBA said attorneys will be available to provide consultations for veterans dealing with the following legal issues:
- Landlord/tenant
- Veterans Benefits
- Bankruptcy
- Criminal defense
- Consumer protection
- Contract disputes
- Estate Planning
- Child support
- Personal injury
- General Legal Issues
This will not be a wills clinic. KBA said clients can expect legal advice, but no wills will be drafted…
