The National Weather Service Morristown has issued a Cold Weather Advisory for much of east Tennessee, southwest Virginia and portions of southwest North Carolina, effective early Saturday through Sunday afternoon.
The advisory is in effect from 5 a.m. EST (4 a.m. CST) Saturday until 1 p.m. EST (noon CST) Sunday.
