KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – The Knoxville Police Department responded to I-40 West near downtown Saturday after two tractor-trailers crashed.
The department said officers responded near Hall of Fame Drive. KPD added that multiple lanes of the interstate had been closed; officers did not give an estimated time of reopening.
It marks the latest in a series of morning crashes as Knoxvillians woke up to several inches of snow. The Tennessee Department of Transportation, along with city crews, are expected to be out treating roads as soon as possible.
