KNOXVILLE, Tennessee — Knoxville Police Department Homicide Unit detectives are continuing to investigate the unsolved murder of 25-year-old Emory Johnson, who was shot and killed on the 2400 block of Center Avenue on June 7, 2023.
Detectives said Tuesday they believe a Dodge Avenger (pictured below) was somehow involved in the shooting. KPD said the car was possibly sold or abandoned in the greater Knoxville area soon after the shooting happened.
