KAT buses to delay start of service Tuesday, operate on regular snow routes through Knoxville

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – Knoxville Area Transit, better known as KAT, buses will start their routes late and operate on the city’s Regular Snow Routes on Tuesday.

The announcement came from KAT Monday afternoon. The first lineup will leave Knoxville Station at 9:15 a.m. and operate on the following routes:

  • Route 1: Downtown Connector
  • Route 10: Sequoyah Hills
  • Route 11: Sutherland/Kingston Pike
  • Route 12: Western Ave.
  • Route 15: Woodland Crosstown
  • Route 16: Middlebrook/Cedar Bluff
  • Route 17: Sutherland/Bearden
  • Route 20: Central
  • Route 22: Broadway
  • Route 23: Millertown
  • Route 24: Lincoln Park/Inskip
  • Route 31: Magnolia
  • Route 32: Dandridge Avenue
  • Route 34: Burlington Shopper
  • Route 37: Morningside/Riverside
  • Route 40: South Knoxville
  • Route 41: Chapman Highway
  • Route 42: Fort Sanders/UT Medical Center
  • Route 44: University Park Apts.
  • Route 45: Vestal
