KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV/WBIR) – A Tennessee Department of Transportation worker is being celebrated as a hero after he tracked a dog more than a mile to reunite him with his family, according to WBIR.
When TDOT’s David Wortham arrived at the scene of a crash in Knoxville amid snowy conditions, he found a survivor of the crash standing in the tree line shouting for someone.
That someone was Max, his 4-year-old dog who had gone missing during the wreck, Wortham told WBIR…
