ANDERSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WATE) —It’s that time of the year, the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office has received several reports of tire damage caused by a large pothole in the area. The pothole is located along Oliver Springs Highway, close to the Highway 62 intersection, near a bridge construction project.
Rebecca Weeks was on her way to work Wednesday morning along Oliver Springs Highway when her morning took a sudden turn.

“I unfortunately hit a pothole, and it burst my tire. It jerked the steering wheel out of my hand. For me, it was traumatic. I know for most people it might not be, but I did have to pull over to the side of the road,” explained Weeks.
As Weeks pulled over, she noticed another driver had just hit the same pothole. The two attempted to change her tire and quickly realized they were not alone…
