Which Knoxville restaurants have closed in 2026? The list has grown

Knoxville said goodbye to some of its favorite dining spots in 2025, and a string of restaurant closings has continued into 2026.

Coming off a year when places like Babalu, Frothy Monkey and Landing House served their last meals in Knoxville, the new year started with the same old problem restaurants face each winter: January is a notoriously slow, difficult month for the industry.

Ivory’s Pearl & Prime

Ivory’s Pearl & Prime in Bearden was only open about a month before announcing it would close at 4705 Old Kingston Pike. Described on its Facebook page as a “refined upscale dining experience,” Ivory’s had replaced Bogartz, which in 2025 also closed in short order after being open only a year.
