Penne For Your Thoughts, the Northshore Town Center pasta shop that grew from a popular Knoxville food truck, announced Friday that it will close after eight years in business. The owners have set the restaurant’s final service day for next Wednesday (Feb. 11), and the on-site food truck will shut down at the same time as the storefront.
Owner Cites Rising Costs
Co-owner Geoffrey Bernstein told the Knoxville News Sentinel that the decision followed “a decline of the food industry, growing economic pressures, and rapidly rising costs,” leaving the operation no longer sustainable.
