KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – A historic South Knoxville school will be converted into affordable housing for families as part of a community redevelopment project.
Officials broke ground Monday on Historic Giffin Square, which will preserve the 98-year-old Giffin Elementary School while creating 77 affordable residential units.
