Police: Ketchup used in $14K vandalism at Mableton residence

Brieayne Sims of Knoxville, Tennessee, is accused of going to a man’s home at 1737 Graywood Drive in Mableton while he was not there and causing damage in excess of $500 on Jan. 1 at noon, according to an arrest warrant from the Cobb County Police Department.

Sims put holes in the dry wall, broke televisions and windows, poured ketchup on the furniture, poured multiple kinds of food on the floor and put the victim’s clothes in the bathtub with running water. Police spoke with Sims on the phone and she said the ketchup was symbolic for the blood she shed for the victim. Liberty Mutual, the victim’s insurance company, quoted the damage at $14,527, according to the warrant…
