KNOXVILLE, Tenn — The Knoxville Police Department said over a dozen individuals were indicted and arrested over the past week in connection with a cocaine distribution network.
KPD’s Organized Crime Unit and the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s initial search focused on two apartments on S. Olive Street in Knoxville. They were able to identify the residents and additional associates, numerous of whom KPD said were identified as members of the Bloods street gang.
On Wednesday and Thursday, KPD said the following individuals were taken into custody on various charges, including conspiracy to distribute over 300 grams of cocaine:
- Jackie Cantrell
- Jaharrius Chambers
- Erica Edwards
- Domonique Hall
- Shawndria Hall
- Jermichael Harris
- Jarret Heard
- Dexter Mayes
- Laura Proctor
- Keith Smith
- Thomas Solomon
- Casey Woodley
Mike North and Jerry Pittman were also indicted in the conspiracy, KPD said, and Davante Nail was taken into FBI custody on federal drug trafficking charges…
