Homelessness nonprofit receives CPR training in Knoxville

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — American Medical Response (AMR) Knoxville donated a first aid training class to ReLaunch, a Knoxville organization that tries to help people experiencing homelessness.

AMR explained that bystander CPR increases out-of-hospital cardiac arrest survival by up to 81%. Despite this, data showed that only 39% of people feel confident performing CPR.
