HALLS, Tenn. (WATE) — A suspect has been taken into custody after Knox County deputies responded to a stabbing in the Halls community on Monday.
Deputies responded to the Rural King just after noon on Monday, where an adult victim was found with stab wounds. The suspect is in custody, and the victim’s injuries did not appear life-threatening, a sheriff’s office spokesperson said.

Both individuals knew each other, and the incident occurred after a dispute, the spokesperson added. The Knox County Sheriff’s Office major crimes unit is leading the investigation.
