Paul and Ashley Moody soon will make their case in a courtroom for why they should walk free after the owners of Marble City Market allege the married couple stole more than $190,000 while managing the Knoxville food hall.
After parting ways with the food hall in 2023, the Moodys’ SmashCity Knoxville concept continued to operate at 211 S. Central St. until Feb. 12, 2026, when Knox News reported the business was seized by the Tennessee Department of Revenue over alleged nonpayment of state taxes.
