Maryville development would bring 90 new townhouse units

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – The Maryville Board of Zoning Appeals will consider a plan to build 90 townhouse units on Montvale Road Thursday.

City records show that a developer wants to appeal a zoning rule to allow building to start. As it stands, the land is currently zoned for residential homes. The project, which would bring 16 buildings to the 22-acre spot, needs approval from the board.

The development itself would include 14 six-unit buildings, two three-unit buildings and a new street connecting the homes to Montvale Road.
