DA: Knoxville man gets 22 years in prison for aggravated rape and assault

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — A 29-year-old man convicted of several charges after assaulting and raping his ex-fiancée was sentenced to more than two decades in prison on Friday, according to Knoxville District Attorney Charme Allen.

According to Allen, Judge Emily Abbott sentenced Deangelo Malik Rogers to 22 years in prison without the possibility for parole.
