Anderson County Commissioners making new efforts for State Route 116

ANDERSON COUNTY, Tenn. — State Route 116 has been a trouble spot in Anderson County for years, and Anderson County Commissioners want to fix the problem.

“Myself and Commissioner Tim Isbel had received a lot of complaints about the tractor-trailer traffic, how dangerous that it was. Especially, for school busses travelling the road at the same time,” Shain Vowell, Commissioner for Anderson County District 4 said.
