KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – Recent renovations to Lindsey Nelson Stadium are bringing back memories for the Sutton family, who attended the stadium’s opening day in 1993, when it was named after the iconic broadcaster and Tennessee native.
Danny Sutton and his son Matthew were among the fans at the first game. Matthew was pulled from school for the occasion.
