After Penn State’s successful undefeated weekend in the Sunshine State, the Nittany Lions traveled to Knoxville, Tennessee, for their fourth straight weekend series. The blue and white went 3-2 in Rocky Top, with tough losses in both of its matchups against No. 1 Tennessee.
Penn State started its weekend with a shutout, 6-0 win against N.C. Central. But, it was a split performance for the first day of the Tennessee Invitational, as the blue and white fell short against the host orange and white, 4-1.
