NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – What do the cities of Hendersonville, Gatlinburg and Knoxville all have in common? They’re among the 16 finalists for The Boring Company’s (TBC) Tunnel Vision Challenge.
The premise of the challenge is for TBC to make it easier to get from Point A to Point B, “Without the hassle of crossing busy roads, intersections, or other obstacles. Tunnels may be your answer!”
Elon Musk’s company invited proposals for a tunnel project up to one mile in length with a 12-foot inner diameter, to be submitted. A winner from the proposals will be selected and the tunnel project will be constructed free of charge…
