KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The latest numbers from the Knox County District Attorney’s office show overdose deaths continue to impact families across the area.
The data tracks preliminary overdose deaths reported throughout the year. The numbers are considered “suspected” because final toxicology reports from the medical examiner can take weeks and sometimes months to complete.
