A major wildfire is actively burning south of Plainview near Highway 1074 and Ward Line Road, prompting a large-scale response from multiple fire departments across Washington Parish.
According to a social media post from the Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office , the blaze is located off Highway 1074 and Ward Line Road near Bogalusa. Residents are being urged to avoid the area as emergency crews work to contain the fire.
