GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Over 80,000 baby monitors have been recalled over the risk of overheating or sparking when charging.
About 81,000 Babysense Max View Baby Monitors, model number VBM55, were recalled on Feb. 26, according to the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission.
The unit, which lets parents see and hear the baby, can overheat or spark while charging, which poses a fire risk, the commission said. The recall is based on 11 reports of incidents involving the units. No injuries were reported…
