KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — A handful of people got into a tussle at the City County Building downtown Friday morning after a man pleaded guilty to attempted murder.
The fight started about 10 a.m. after a hearing for Demetrius Johnson, who police at the time said shot two 17-year-olds in the Lonsdale community in July 2025. Johnson is 17. His case was transferred from juvenile court.
