LOUDON COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) – SWAT and negotiators responded to a boat ramp in Tellico Village at around 2:50 p.m. on Sunday.
Loudon County Dispatch received a call from a Tellico Village resident reporting that her husband was armed with a pistol and making suicidal threats. Loudon County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) patrol deputies responded to the home, but officials say the man had already left the home.
Deputies were able to locate the vehicle traveling on Highway 444 and attempted to initiate a traffic stop. The man refused to stop, and deputies initiated a pursuit. According to officials, Loudon County Dispatchers were able to make contact with the man by phone during the pursuit…
