ANDERSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) – The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office said a retired K-9 officer has passed away.
K-9 Axel died on Friday. He began his service with ACSO in April 2018, serving for more than seven years alongside his handler, Deputy Adam Warren before his retirement last November.
“Throughout his career, Axel demonstrated unwavering loyalty, courage, and a tireless work ethic,” ACSO said. “Whether tracking suspects, assisting fellow deputies, or standing watch beside his partner, Axel served with honor and pride every single day.”…
