SEYMOUR, Tenn. — Sevier County Fire & Rescue called for mutual aid on Wednesday afternoon after two brush fires within a half mile of one another ignited off Haney Road and Dudley Drive, according to John Lisenbigler with the Seymour Volunteer Fire Department.
Lisenbigler said one of the brush fires is under control, but another is still burning and has involved a home. He also said multiple agencies are assisting on the scene.
The extent of the home’s damage is currently unknown…
